Sanni Small (she/they) is an NYC-based stage performer, musician, songwriter/producer, DJ, historian, and educator. Originally hailing from Washington State, Sanni was an avid participant in music and dance growing up, and quickly fell in love with the romantic musicals of the 20th Century. After completing her primary education, Sanni relocated to central Florida, where they enjoyed cultivating a career in opera, musical theatre, concerts and cabarets. Sanni's performance endeavors have taken her to the likes of Der Rotthaus in Bavaria, Germany, Carnegie Hall and the National Opera Center in New York City, the Reilly Arts Center in Ocala, Florida, and the Saint Paul Cathedral in Minneapolis, among others. Favorite past roles include Maggie (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof) (winner- Hammie Award, Best Actress in a Play), Amalia (She Loves Me), Peter (Peter & the Starcatcher), Johanna (Sweeney Todd), Sister Genevieve (Suor Angelica), Sharon (Master Class), and the Sorceress (Dido & Aeneas). 

Outside of theatrical pursuits, Sanni also enjoys writing, producing and live-mixing original and published music under the project name "Kaldwin". Kaldwin's debut EP, Venus Pastoral, released on all platforms in Fall 2022, and the single "Sick Kitty" charted to number 7 on Alt-Q Indie Queer Radio. Sanni, as Kaldwin, continues to enjoy performing and DJing at venues around New York City and in streamed online engagements.

Sanni holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Stetson University, and will be matriculating with her Master of Music from NYU's Steinhardt School this spring.
